Title: TB Identification?
Post by: Jim_Miller on January 30, 2008, 02:34:23 PM
How does one (can one) Identify what lb. Injectors a TB is calibrated for?

When I bought my Cobra Intake I got a TB with it and was told it was calibrated for 24lb. I just want to confirm that.

Its not the throttle body, its the mass air meter you have to match up with the injectors.

Post a pic of it if you could. Does it have and markings or part #'s on it?

Correct me if I'm wrong cause its been years but If the mass air meter is from a 93 cobra, the 93 cobra EEC-IV was cal'd to the 24#ers and the meter was cal'd to 19#ers

TBs are not cal'd for injectors, it's the MAF meter as already mentioned...

Ok my Bad, I called it the wrong thing. it's the MAF. I'll see if I can get a pic up in the next day or so.

And I'm not sure if the MAF came off the Cobra or not, it just came with the Upper/Lower Intake. As well as a few more parts.
