the title speaks for itself. im looking for replacement panels for my 90 xr7. the rockers have little rust on em and i want to cut it out and replace it with new panels. ive looked on jc whetney (sp) but no luck. i know i could go with keystone but there pricey. if anyone knows anywhere elts i can check it would be nice.

If your just replacing the rusted parts you don't need the entire panel.
a sheet metal patch would be fine. cut out the rust and weld in the new metal
the entire rocker would be a fairly big job. I assume you were talking about the outer rocker panel
yeah the outside rocker has a few places where it rusted through. when im in there im just gonna go in and por 15 the inside and use weld through primer on where i cut and the new panel. abd repaint the car since the bumpers and rockers need it. but thanx for the info. and you inspire me to keep and fix my 84. its in better shape than your cougar. and it saw 3 NY winters when i lived up there.
Where are you in northern PA?
Nelson PA its about a 10 min drive from the NY border. and from my place it takes bout 20 min to Corning NY.

yup and have you heard of a place called LeRoy NY? thats where im from. my hometown. i still wear my lettermans jacket even though i don't live there anymore.
