Title: Local speed shop
Post by: thunderjet302 on January 19, 2008, 04:55:34 PM
Just wondering but does anyone have a local speed shop they get their parts from? I have one that is about 8 blocks from my house. The place is a Ford Racing dealer too :D . The guy who runs the place is nice and a big Mopar nut (he really doesn't like Chevys but he sells parts for them lol). Besides Mopar and FRPP stuff the guy can get anything Summit or Jegs has and, get ready for this, it cost the same as it does from either place or sometimes even less! Plus I always pay in cash so no taxes  I go there and pay less than I would for stuff from summit plus I get it in a day with no shipping cost :D Here's his website: http://www.chicagoconnection.us/

So does anyone else have a local speed shop that they like?

local Auto Value(was Bumper to Bumper) where my bro works.  I get yer usual parts with discounts. :)  No speed shops nearby.  Twin cities may be the closest.  About 300 miles away.  Gotta love the internet and UPS/Fedex.

oh yeh i forgot to mention the original nopi shop is still in stockbridge ga.  my dad's first car was a VW beetle and he worked at a beetle barn or whatever you call vw specific speedshops, and back in his day nopi was also a beetle barn.  i could build a chevy from the people i know in dirt and asphalt oval racing.
