I've learned that 5.0L's didn't get crank sensors until way after they were killed in Cougars, Birds and Stangs.

Anyone know what year they started in Explorers? Were they on the MN12 Birds and Cougars? Were they 36 teeth minus one?

I *think* all 5.0 Explorers had crank sensors but I'm not sure.

5.0L's had crank sensors in 78 or 79 through 83 when they had EEC III.
