Very nice. And the V Sedan is getting the engine from the ZR-1 (I'm sure a V Coupe will be right behind). I don't know about the Fastback/Hatch look, but I like the hidden door handles, and the profile does look like the Cien profile from a few years back.
Cadillac is kicking some serious ass lately.
Dick Teague is going to be turning in his grave over the AMX rip-off c-pillars.
But it sure does look nice!
Wow, that does look nice. GM's design department has their shiznit together.
Meh i like the older cts's
Pretty sad that we had to wait for Cadillac to make the Mark IX for Lincoln...
Lincoln??? Good God, Carmen! There hasn't been a good looking Lincoln since the JFK Special. If you think they look anything alike, you need to take a look at the MKT Concept at Detroit. It looks like they're actually running with the Hairlip design language.

I love the front on those,(they were originally supposed to be a Ford Interceptor for Lincoln) but the rear is hideous. I think this is what you meant to post oldraven the MKs, not the MKT.

The front of the Lincoln was hot but after that I don’t care for the rest.
I gotta say the cadi is a better looking car. I’m sorry
The caddy side profile looks like a G37.
What I meant was that it's too bad we had to wait for Cadillac to make the RWD coupe that Lincoln should be making. Up until 1999 Lincoln carried the RWD luxury coupe banner for the US automakers while Caddy stuck with FWD. Now Caddy's committed to RWD and Lincoln's gone all panzy-ass on us, offering nothing more than reskinned Mazdas and Volvos.
As for good looking Lincolns I beg to differ: The '84-'92 Mark VII was a very good looking car. It looks so much like a Thunderbird it pretty much has to be :hick:
Love the mark 7s and the 8s
The LSC mark 7 would be the ultimate sleeper think a LSC w/a 347 afr185 all that HP on airbag luxury ride and air conditioning.
That’s fast and class.
I get you now. I agree, they've definitely switched roles fast. It looked like Caddy was never going to go back to RWD.... ever! I can't remember one person who wasn't surprised when someone said the words "New Rear Wheel Drive Cadillac".
The MKS looks a lot better than the MKX and MKR. Tamer, but not as much whale grin. I think I see plankton.
I'd like to see a notch version of the CTS Coupe, maybe as the V. Somewhere between this and the XLR in the rear.
I agree. We sell Lincolns at the dealership I work at. While they are a nice looking car, they are nothing more than re skinned Mazda / Volvo offerings. Lincoln needs to build a S-197 based two door coupe. It would more than likely be a nice car.
I think I remember the car you're talking about. It was on Fordmuscle website, no?
It was a bad-a$$ concept car.
shagy. But something tells me that a 5mph impact on those "bumpers" will cost you BIG $$$...
We had this car at our shop right before Christmas, it actually had a few designs that will probably make it on the next update of the MKS, specifically a version of the rear hatch, the current truck opening on the MKS is extremely small, "they" are already talking about a "hatch back" version, or a 2 piece deck lid design, the full length center console, will probably make it as well. And of course the grille, which they have already updated on the MKS. The rest, 1/2 gull wing doors, "airplane" seats, crystal instrument cluster, moving trunk floor etc. are probably a ways away...
