A D9 block is '79

Measure the main bearings, the 351 is 3", the 302 is 2.25"...

the 351W is 2" wider then a 302 at the heads

It will also be stamped 351W in the valley

January 29th, 1979.  6015 is a basic block casting number.  You will likely need to visually ID it by what was already said.  A crankshaft will have something like 3M stamped on it, a 302 will have 2M stamped on it.
