Title: vibration between 90-105mph
Post by: t3skidoo on January 12, 2008, 03:32:04 PM
My first bird has always vibrated above 90mph or so and smoothed out over 105 or so.  The new one does the same thing but at slightly different speeds.  Sounds (feels?) like a harmonics issue.

I've never seen this posted anywhere.  Anyone know of a fix?

Thanks

check the drive shaft vibration damper, the one on the front yoke, ive seen those come loose and cause similar issues.

Good suggestion.

Mine appears to be in good shape.  Regardless, it's gone now, replaced with a lengthened FMS Al shaft.  It will be interesting to see if any of the suspension mods I've done will eliminate that

And I forgot to mention in the first post, all the lug nuts are the same.
