Interesting list. More interesting is there's nothing from Chrysler Corp.

The Ford Escape, meanwhile, saw the steepest domestic-parts content drop of all, from 90 percent for the 2007 model to just 65 percent for the restyled '08. Ford spokesman Wes Sherwood couldn't give a reason for the drop,

There are plenty of Chrysler products above 65%....
I own one.  The Nitro RT I have lists @ 68%.  THe base Nitro lists right around 75%.  The difference is the German built tranny.

Meh. Unless the VIN starts in 2 they're all imports to me :canada: :hick:

Just wondering what they consider "domestic", anyway. Ford builds 200,000 F-series trucks annually in Canada, and Chevy builds 230,000 GMT900's (numbers are from 2003 and are likely outdated). Ford Panthers are Canadian, as are most of the Modular V8 engines. Heck, before NAFTA, Volvos were made right here in Nova Scotia.

My F-150 starts with 3. I guess some were built here, too...

I wanted one sooo badly (one built in Canada, so i could have imported legally to Mexico), but trust me, i couldn`t find anything ! i wanted a 94-98 S90, but i think these were built in belgica, so guess what i got for 2008 ?

 A clue.....the Vin starts with J....
