i have a 88 bird with a c4 and trans brake full roller 302 e-cam 4:56 gears in the back
uhmm, somewhere between 1 second and 1 minute.
your information is too vague. plus the motor doesnt matter you have to factor in weight, temp, tire slippage, and your R/T
true
R/T has NOTHING to do with ET...
What type of:
heads
intake
headers/exhaust
Traction-Lok or not?
You might run the quarter in 1:15 or so depending on how quick you are. Your car on the other hand should cover that distance much more quickly.
LMAO
1:15 there’s some other misc factors like his age weight and how’s his shoes tied.
Like I said...it depends on how quick he is ;)
1:15 is actually kinda slow. I ran it in 56 sec WAAYYY back when in the city track meet when I was in Jr High...and I finished 3rd :p
I just figured it was an arbitrary answer to an arbitrary question.
ROTFLOL!!!. :rollin: That.......was a good answer.
first time i had it out with the old motor and tranny i ran a 17...

Thats a big carb for such small heads, what stall converter?
running at what elevation?, slicks or street tires?
slicks and a 3800 not sure about the elevation if any1 has been there i plan on running at kil-kare in dayton ohio
the motor i had was running 11s in a fox gt with 3.73 on slicks
What are you shifting at?
Is the cam installed with any advance or retard?
Pistons? Compression ratio?
I'm curious as to why a 3800 stall on some stock ported heads with an E-cam? I understand you need a higher advertised stall with numerically higher gears, but 3800?
What does this converter brake stall at?
stock bottom end 10dr advance the 3800 is what was in my parts car and i got it from a dead mans family
anf the guy that i got my motor from was runng a 3500 so i fig its close enough
wow, and i was worried a 3000 stall would be to much for the 347...
