Here's the garage all cleaned up!
The engines are a 2.3T, a 302, and an AMC 401. There's another 2.3T block on the floor standing up (and another 302 still in the Sport...).
The giant box came full of packing peanuts. We used it as a "swimming pool" and dove into it after taking out what came in it! :hick:
So, where do you work on the cars? (Carm= snowbank :D )
(That's the new toolbox in the last pic on the right too ;) )
meh, nothing much just a 3.5 car garage with 2 easily heated bays.

You suck! It's nice though, isn't it? I'm just happy I even have one at all. :)
shiznitty part is theres only 1 car in it and no room for anything else lmao. car, car parts, wood working tools, tractor, motorcycle, snow blower lol
the list goes on lol... spring is gonna be fun when it comes to cleaning.
No fair... :-(
I want an actual garage so bad...
We have an old 60's house that was built oddly, It HAD a 2 car garage... But it was sectioned off and one half was turned into a bedroom.
The 1 car garage thats left is our storage area now.
However we have a large deck on the upper level of the house and underneath they built what they called a "Car Port".
Has no walls, And when i build some it will be pretty cramped with a car in it...
I've still got alot of work to do on it.
But either its that or fully open driveway!
1.5 car garage with the 88 T-bird inside it :D

Dude, I've got a garage :shakeass:20X28, concrete floor, with an 8X10 "porch". Shiny new vinyl siding just this past summer :hick: Mind you, it's half buried in a snow bank right now, but the Bird's safe from the elements...
I miss my car :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
U know i Would live in that lol, A house which is just a garge, my style of living.
you dont miss the hesitation on light throttle the miss every now and then, the bad door pin bushing the leaky sunroof lol
Like this? (removable interior walls, minus corner bathroom)
That's my garage. This is my house ;)

You will have that in a 25 year old car.... so yes!!
I don't really have any pics of just the shop, but I have a shot of the daughter's car in front of most of it and a shot of the 429 going into my latest project in my work area. The right hand section is heated and is set up for working in. The center and left hand sections are just for storage. I love hanging out in the shop even if I'm not getting much done. It's the only place I'm the boss....
i guess the intake manifold hoist was a waste of time ;) when installing the motor... you desided to go old school:)
Garage? I wish! Nothin but driveway for me. (But it's a nice flat, smooth concrete one so that helps.) Thank goodness Texas weather is normally pretty good. Although in the summer time you cannot work outside unless the sun has gone down.

Blown306Cougar, you’re exactly right, nothing but old school for big blocks. I’ll use the lift plate for small blocks, but I’ve had big blocks (with a C6 attached) pull carb studs right out of aluminum intakes before and it ain’t pretty. So, on big blocks, the lift plate is just used to plug the carb holes, it’s not used for lifting. Plus, with a leveler, it’s easier to adjust the motor to get the mounts right.
Dogcharmer, we’re even, you can’t work in the driveway in the summer and up north, we can’t work in the driveway in winter. If you’re wondering, this is an 88 Turbo Coupe….
FLSTCI71, How big is the place that only you rule,
I've run out of space at 37' and need to put on another bay I think
daminc, that's exactly what happened to me. I started with 36'x28' and had to add another 17', so it's about 53'x28' now. I can get two cars side by side and one car crossways in the back in each storage section. Gotta love car dollies. lol.
You guys are cruel, posting pictures of your mansions like that.. lol
If I had a garage/shop like that, I'd have a big screen, a bed, a microwave, and a fridge...and rent the house out to someone else ;)
Nice places y'all have :D
My garages consist of a 2 car shed, with hard dirt floor, a 30'x60' shed that has an 8N Ford, my '92 F-150, the '88 Chev 1500, and old-ass baler, and some other odds and ends.
Then, at my dad's farm, I've got a barn that has a ragtop Lebaron, and my Escort GT. I'm runnin' out of room...and his '89 F-150 is STILL outside...with a rusted cab top. While a blown up convertible sits IN the barn.
I need ....more buildings ;)
Holy ! I think I'll take my hot summers.
BTW, it's 78 degrees right now in TX:D
its 43 here in RI, warmest its been in like 5 days.
Hate you guys that live down south, you get warm winters, and rust free cars.
the only problem with the south is---- BUGS!!!!!!!!
Big creepy crawly ------BUGS!!!!
i can deal with that
Funniest thing was working on my dads old black turbo coupe in west virgina, Im under it and all of a sudden i feel something warm and fuzzy rubbing on my legs it freaked the HELL out of me. smashed my head on the floor board, turns out it was a freaking kitten. I think a bug would be less of a scare!
You got that right! Last year was mosquitos. The year before was junebugs and crickets. Actually, junebugs are bad every year. That's what really sucks about working at night with bright lights in the summer.
but do you have army worms?
Army worms?
oops, forgot the reason I came back to this post. stupid bugs got me flustered.
Here's my cluttered mess of a garage.
Things just keep following me home

And the outside

you guys are lucky, i get to use my dad's "vanity" garage. i call it that b/c you really don't have room to do ! and my apartment complex has nothing not even those rentable garages some places do. it's in there now and with the front jacked sky high (to get the aod out and the new one in) the back bumper has been sing the back wall a bit and the door just barely closes with "scooting" room infront of the car. i guess they built it with econoboxes in mind. my dad's 06 sonata fits bumper to bumper even. plus he's got a lot of equipment on the sides that he doesnt need. (lives on a tiny residential lot, mostly on a slope yet he still has his tiller and junk box, i mean tool box and a lot of other useless stuff) he has a company van that has ALL his tools in (prolly 10's of thousands of dollars worth of tools and manuals - works on lift trucks) and a bunch of other junk in there. i usually do my stuff in a parking lot with drug dealers walking around me (keep a glock g20 just out of sight in case ;) ) and my trunk serves as my tool box... go figure.
Inside of my garage:hick:
http://s198.photobucket.com/albums/aa33/thunderjet302/garage/
forest tent caterpillars gazillions of them every 10 year's cycle.
