Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

Those were made by ARE, and I doubt they're still in production. I had a set with a black mesh center (which now belong to Cougars2go) but they were 15".

They were identical to this set: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/79-93-Ford-Mustang-GT-LX-4-Lug-ARE-Mesh-Saleen-Wheels_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ66481QQihZ018QQitemZ280184692476QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

I loved the way they looked on my '88 XR7.

I thought those looked to be the factory spoke type wheels that came on the Lincoln Mark's back in the 80's

Those are indeed ARE wheels, and they pull an arm and a leg in good shape.

The Lincolns are either BBS or Speedlines depending on the year.

thanks guys.  I was searching for who owned the Cougar on here, and I couldn't find it.  Now I know.  And now I know what wheels I'll be looking for.  Whether I ever find any, don't know, but the search is part of the fun.

They are 16" and have no markings on them indicating the manufacturer.  Some knowledgeable folks say ARE so I'll go along with that.  The rear wheels have different offset than the front.  The spoke part of the rear wheels looks to be of a different texture than the front two wheels as well.  I could very well indeed have two different brands of wheels that look identical but have different offset and texture.  The texture difference is barely noticeable.  I didn't realize it until 6 months after I bought them.  The offset actually works out beautifully because it keeps the rear wheels about the same "flushness" with the quarter panel wheel well lip as the fronts have with the fender wheel well lip.
There's a bunch of pictures of the wheels and cars at my Cardomain, it's the green '85 Cougar:

Those look like my front two.  That picture you posted of my wheel at the top of this thread is one of my front wheels.

Yours has an extra row of small diamonds around the center.  So they're different than the ARE's.

A guy up here is selling a set of 15''s. $250 bucks, $350 with the Cooper Cobras (295/60). It's very tempting but I don't know if I could tuck those monsters under the rear fenders.

I have a set of those in White, on my '83...  LOVE the looks of them...  Classy and stylish, and they suit the four eyed cars perfectly IMO.

Quarters, shouldnt be an issue. Fenders, yes. You will rub the strut or the fender or both.

Its better to bring up an old thread then create a new one, most of the time anyway.

Sorry I meant to type quarters. And I want them in the rear not in the front, struts in the front, shocks in the rear right? I think they're 50s, instead of 60's.

No quad shocks? Those will most likely get in the way. Ride height, wheel offset and all that will really decide if it rubs or not.

Nope no quads. They sold though, I think I'm gonna wait for a nice set of Ponys.
