My motor seems to rock gently from time to time when idling, my 89 grand marquis with the 5.0 did the same thing but i still drove it for 30,000 miles with no problems. Anybody else having this problem? Any ideas on what it might be? I'm certain its nothing to worry about but im just curious.
Mine will idle a little rough when it finaly idles down after warming up. I honestly think my problem is due to my plug wires though.
my car does that when it would miss at idle. Might could be a bad motor mount perhaps.
Mine did that.The rubber cushion on my left motor mount was broke.Easy fix.
