Title: There are precious few advantages to living in Nova Scotia...
Post by: Thunder Chicken on December 19, 2007, 09:58:26 PM
...I present you with one of them. Twenty, count 'em, twenty lobsters (actually don't count 'em - there are only 17. I ate three before taking the picture). Twenty cooked lobsters for a total cost of $free. Gotta love it :hick:

Imagine being from here and not liking Losbers. Saying that in Alberta was like telling people that Baby Jesus thinks they're ugly.

The rest of my family loves them, though. Nice score, all the same.

I've never been a huge fan of lobster, but I don't think it was cooked right last time i had it.

Now, blue crab...mmm! I'm partial to that since my grandpa caught it in traps when he lived in Florida and New Jersey.

Snow crab is good too.

I'm not a fan of seafood either. I'm probably the only Marylander who doesn't love to get down with a good bushel of crabs.

No, but I've got family that does. They usually have an "all-you-can-eat" lobster feast on Christmas eve, but since I won't be able to make it they gave me a bunch when I was down to the s yesterday

BLASPHEMER!!!! You were in Alberta too long, and some of that Alberta-ness rubbed off on you!!!

j/k - I know some people who don't like 'em. My brother's deathly allergic to 'em. He can't even be in the house when they're being cooked - the smell in the air makes his skin red and his eyes puffy and watery. More for me :hick:

ROFLMAO!
I was waiting for that to come up.

The best are all of the small restaurants in the area that advertise "We Have Crabs!"
