I have a set of '87-'93 Mustang Spindles, 11" Lincoln Mark VII rotors, Lincoln Mark VII 73mm calipers, and NAPA brake pads that are for sale.
The rotors have new inner and outer bearings packed with grease and installed on the spindles already. The spindles include the dust shields and have been painted with 2 coats of POR-15 and 2 coats of Rust-Oleum Black paint. The calipers are painted Ford Blue.
I had planned on doing the 11" upgrade to my '87 Cougar, but after purchasing '94 Bullitt wheels and realizing they don't fit the spindles, opted to go the 13" Cobra brake route. Therefore, I have the entire 11" 5-Lug setup available.
All parts were mounted on the car for about 2 months while it was up on jackstands in my yard, but were never actually used by me. The brake rotors have the usual coating of rust on them from sitting outside and not being used. However, everything should be perfectly fine and functional.
I'd like $300 for everything plus shipping, as all this stuff is freakin' heavy when bolted together.
PM me if you're interested. Thanks.
I guess I'll say it.....CITY AND STATE please..... Wrong spot too....
24 hours for required info, or this thread goes bye-bye.
Thanks
I'm new to this Forum. Cut me some slack. I added City and State. I wasn't sure where to put the for sale stuff. I searched for a subforum but must have missed the marketplace one.
I did cut you some slack... I didn't delete it right away. ;)
I will refrain from commenting on the price. Good luck with the sale.
Price too high??? I paid over $100 for the spindles, then cleaned them up and put 4 coats of paint on em. The rest of the stuff is brand new parts, not junkyard finds.
You can get a used SN95 Brake Setup, Inner/Outer Tie Rods, & New Ball Joints for less than what your asking price is.
I'm picking up that exact setup for my 85 tomorrow for $80.
Not to hijack the thread, but you can't ask new prices for used parts and especially parts that are only minor upgrades when compared to stock.
actually he CAN ask whatever he wants.
IMO if you dont like it dont buy it; no need to post your disinterest.
Ok, maybe the price is too high. If someone wants 'em, make me a reasonable offer. I'd like to get them to someone who will use the stuff instead of sitting at my house collecting dust. :)
Keep in mind guys, they ARE 5-lug rotors and 73mm calipers...I think he got screwed on what he paid for the spindles...I don't think it's THAT bad of a price for all NEW parts. Go to the parts store and try putting it together for less.

I agree and believe that should be a FORUM RULE, like some other boards do... If you have no intention to purchase, keep your comments to yourselves.... What a PITA to open your thread and see a bunch of useless posts about your price from people you KNOW have no money to purchase it no matter what the price.... [/rant]
Rant over
Edit:
That is a decent price, for what comes with it....
It
IS a forum rule
But as usual folks don't read.
Thread-ping may start resulting in Infractions....
Bye the way that is not a bad price for what he's askin for.
lot of new,
So if it IS a rule, then why are the mods, NOT doing ANYTHING ABOUT IT?!?!
And yes that is a fair price..... stay firm on the price buddy, it is worth it....
