Gees Christmas I have a headache looking at them do you know there blurry and to-big.
How come I could only send 3 pics at a time and they can only be so big (pixel wise)
This is because he hot-linked. He's got the images hosted off another server (assuming it's his). He didn't upload the pictures to this message board as attachments, which has a 3 image attachment restriction.
Agreed about the quality. Sorry, but those are some of the worst pictures I've seen in a long time. Initially thought it was a camera phone (although resolution is large for one). Looks like he is using an Hewelett Packard M307. Needs to practice holding the camera more steady in low-light, among other things.
ive also never seen someone whos been here a while call these cars RX-7's. once is a mistake, four or so time are more then a typo
Its not a RX-7 it has RX-7 features :S The seats, wheels, also I deleted the pictures, go on look at it thru the URL, it gives u a better view. And I didn't use a cam phone he only had a old like the first year digital cams came out.
Thank you I fully agree with you, I don't use Cameras at all, so yes I do need to learn. And I took these pictures at night in the wind so that low - light ha good one.
Dude... XR-7.
rx7 is a mazda
need new pics
Cut back on the caffine before you take pics...geez. Taking pics isn't that hard...AND most cameras give you a review of what you just took....so if it looks like on the camera...it will look like more when it's blown up.
And yes, XR-7..NOT RX-7.
did you use a 35mm with manual focus?
At least he got the location Chuck... 3 TIMES! lol...
Sorry, I couldn't resist.
That is not a GS, it
is an XR-7.
I have a headache now after looking at those blurrs. :shakehead

No where on the Car does it say XR-7 , and not even on the title :S... Also Weird i have been saying RX-7 woops lol. IF anyone is interesting I will post new pictures on a real cam.
That's an '88 XR-7.
The XR-7 c-pillar emblems were dropped after the '87 models - so even the '88 XR-7s had the regular c-pillar emblems.
The trunklid should be wearing an XR-7 badge after the 'COUGAR', but it's missing.
Nice car, though. I would love to have it.
If the Vin is 1MEBM62F it is an XR-7
If the Vin is 1MEBM60F it is an LS.
It definitely is an XR-7
If the VIN starts out as 1MEMP62F...then it's an XR7.
Um, that is an XR-7. GS's weren't available in '88 and unless your friend went way out of his way to convert an LS meaning that he added the XR-7 specific pinstripes, blacked out window trim, body colored mirrors, body colored side molding, XR-7 only body colored turbine wheels (speaking '88, excluding the '87 20ths), it's an XR-7.
I'd be interested in a picture under the car from the rear and a better one of the engine compartment.
The problem with your pictures is lighting. Turning the flash on (not auto) or taking them in good sunlight will fix it.
If you can, that'd be great, I'd like to see some better pics of the engine and if you could, some from under it, quarters, wheel wells, and under the rear of it. Interior too.
Those auto focus digi cams are handy. ;)
alright I will borrow a new digital cam because the one I had din't have auto focus... lol...
i new it was a manual focus.- lol -I've made pics like that before
The data shows the camera was Hewlett Packard M307. Those have an auto focus. I hate to say this, but even the best of camera can still give pictures like that if you don't learn how to use a camera properly.
As mentioned, the lighting was bad and you didn't hold the camera steady enough.
wow thats a very unsteady hand.
ever since i got my canon years ago, i've never had a bad pic.
those little powershots are great for the price.
Just in case anyone was looking for a last minute christmas idea.
Some of those pictures show a shutter time of 2 seconds. The camera would have needed to be still for the entire 2 seconds. Holding a camera still, that long without any tripod, is difficult. Obviously that didn't happen!
Had he used a flash, or had better light, the shake issue would have been less of an issue. When you have low light, and not using a flash, the shutter has to stay open longer to get the picture. Therefore, you better have a steady hand. Any movement while the shutter is open will produce the results shown in the pictures here.
Still, even the best of cameras can't save all pictures. The photographer has to know how to work the camera, and know some basics in taking pictures.
Anyway, I guess better get back on topic since this isn't a camera/photography thread, nor the forum for such.

Alright I got a cam coming to me tomorrow, so I can get the pictures tomorrow :D
