Yeah, because putting a T-bird on an off-road 4X4 chassis would be cheap ass. ;)

Someday I will build one. Living in an area that one can only drive one's T-Bird 6 months a year, I will someday build a 4X4 T-Bird or Cougar for the other 6 (and for trailer towing, fishing, hunting, etc). When I build mine I'm gonna do it right, though: EFI, fully functional interior (including A/C), etc. In fact, since it'll likely be decades before I do it, I'd like to use an '01 or newer Exploder chassis with its four-wheel independent suspension. I wouldn't want big mud tires on it, maybe just some 31's...

awwwww, ya know ya want some 44's to run over them pesky Generic Motors F-bodies when they get stuck on a banana peel, or on a clump of mud at the car wash..., rotfl
