at work, we call them door checks... the piece that keeps the door from closing after you opened it up all the way.... i can see that the cougar has one (or something like it) near the door hinge, but i can't find one listed for sale anywhere..... my door won't stay open, but it's the creaking and squeeking when i open it that's really starting to annoy the hell out of me..... it's not the upper hinge, but this piece circled on the bottom... does anyone have one or know where to get one?

Lube that puppy up with WD-40. That should help with the squeaking and creaking.

Mine is having troubles as well on the drivers side, The door wont stay open at all (especially being parked on a slope).
