Perusing the internet I came across this particular grind camshaft listed as a blower cam.  http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?part=CCA%2D35%2D306%2D8&view=1&N=700+

As far as the computer controlled compatibility I'll call BS right off the bat. 

My questions come about from looking at some other parameters of the specs......

The High lift and Long duration would indicate an operating range a bit higher than the listed 2000-6000 RPM's.  The wide LSA would counter this some and bring it down a little (less overlap = better idle, more vacuum, lower operating range, broader torque curve with less peak torque but wider range).


Anyway, here's the questions:  Seems this would be a decent N/A cam as well as a blower cam for aftermarket heads that flow well.  What do y'all think?

Also,  PTV clearance with TFS TW's and flat tops?
I'm curious how this sucker stacks up against my TFS stage 1.

I run a CompCam XE266, very simular to the one you are looking at. Mine has lobe sep of 112. I love this cam, very happy. I have no problems with PTV.

Looks like that cam has a bit more than the Stage 1. Should work ok with the MA computer. You'de need a 2,800 stall converter, but you have that already;) It has about the same lift as my cam, but abviously more durration. I know that my cam is really viscious when it hits about 3,000 rpms:evilgrin:

Seems like a pretty big cam for the street - the 114 LS will mitigate that somewhat though. It has essentially the same overlap as the cam you are running so I guess it won't be too much of a change there. I run the XE270HR-12 (218/224/112 0.544/0.544) and I think it's at the limit of streetability, but that's me.

I got a e303 cam for a auto 5.0 with a supercharger what cam would be nice for my only car my DD?

Also for the most part how do you like your trickflow stage 1?

That's where my question arises.....Seems like pek HP SHOULD occur at about the same RPM.  The torque curve though....looks like it would be a bit broader, but would it be a sacrifice of peak torque?
