I just think it would be nice to have a chat room. That way when I'm bored I could just hop on here and chat with fellow Bird/cougar owners. It is hard to find anyone around my area that isn't a Cheby truck owner. Not many people to bounce ideas off of. Never know the chat room might cut down on repetative post.

Oh I was just stating my opinion on the matter.  I'm only "middle management".  The higher-ups could decide to launch one...but I SERIOUSLY doubt they do. ;)

Well, I'm borderline on the idea...I wouldn't complain if there was one put in place, but then, I've not been hindered by the lack thereof so far.
If I want chat...well...as I said above, I have a room on a chat server, and it's really a pain to police it. Chat is dying generally since the whole IM thing is applied to everything these days, fershiznitsakes, I saw a WATCH that had IM capabilities!!

Basically, chat is going the way of the dinosaurs...

Chat= A waste of recources (hard drive space, bandwidth, time, etc)
use a  telephone for god sake, Cell phones have free long distance these days.

You're right.

Here's my view, if you need to talk to someone fast, there's other forms of instant messaging. And I'm sure the people who wouldn't mind chatting already have another means that they can be reached at for that purpose.
