Title: Negative for Aerobird Motorsports
Post by: Crusher on November 13, 2007, 10:49:47 PM
I don't know if I'm the first to have a problem but I was very disappointed in the dealing which me and Aerobird Motorsports had.  Many of the people I bought parts from know I run on a weeks check so I want the part and I request to hold it for 1 - 2 weeks till I can pay you fully.  Vinnietbird has done it and more and I thank them because they kept it and were nice and a good transaction was made.  With Aerobird I requested some parts and his decals everyone said which r good and only he can get.  I asked him to wait till I had payment he did, so it was about 1-2 weeks till he got it.  Knew what he was talking about and set me up with good parts.  Asked him in PM's and MSN messages about the shipping and never got word for about 2-3 days.

So I looked on his site and called him 1 min before he was closing on a saturday and he told me it was shipped.  Around by me you can't ship on saturday with UPS which I use only because there the cheapest and best in my book.  So He claimed by him they do not calling him a lier but ok you can slid there but you never contacted me after that day with a tracking number or any information.

I gave you 2 weeks and 3 days waiting for the package and I had my door panel off for that whole time waiting.  After then I sent him a PM warning him he better give me a tracking # or Refund because the package wouldn't of taken that long and I knew he didn't send it.

He wrote back to me telling me not to talk to him like that threating him and acting immature.  He stated I called him at 7:00am his time because it stated it was my area code :S.  Only called him 1st and it was on a saturday a min before closing knew I was pushing it but I was making sure I didn't get scammed again.  So he claimed me of doing something wrong which I clearly wouldn't have done and Im in work at that time and can't use the phone ....

He also told me the package was never sent... So I replied to him why did u state u sent it on the phone ?.  I waited long enough and I give you a certain time of respect till I know I'm the dummy whos getting screwed over.  Then he states he didn't know who I was on the phone when u even said o your crusher.....

Not liking this at all, I'm not a complainer.  I try to get my parts for my baby since its my current project.  You are my second problem and my first one I let slid but how you treated me making me wait and then accusing me of something just shows me you know nothing about business.

When a package is shipped you always mention that in a pm atleast to the buyer with a tracking # or if u didn't get one u tell the buyer.  Everyone on the forum that I have bought from did this besides you.  You stated I was immature, around my friends yes but at work and business I won't let anyone screw me over.

In the end you gave me a refund and stated you refuse to do business with me for life.

So I'm the bad guy for your lie?  No thats not happening.  I warned you I would make it public and I did.

Thank you for the refund but watch who you lie to because some people will defend themselve.  People like you are what put hate in this world.

I would not recommend anyone to do business with you, sad thing is I took a chance I heard u give good parts but bad in shipping from 3 people.  Well that chance proved itself.

Thank you for your time tho,
~Crusher

P.S. This is all I'm gonna say and Im not starting a fight, so if a mod would lock this topic so nothing bad happens.

it sounds like you flew off the handle too fast and he had every right to defend himself. UPS is getting really busy right now cuz of christmas so of course it will take longer.

i don't know about the rest of you, but here in utah the UPS store has a drop box which would explain shipping it out on a SATURDAY.

and if you treated me like that i'd refuse to do business with you too.

We will if it gets out of hand. I think Mike has the right to comment on this.

1. You waited 29 DAYS to pay, not "a week or two". I have all of the emails.

2. You called me 3 HOURS after closing on a Saturday, NOT 1 minute. I have the phone records.

3. Somebody in YOUR area code (of which I have never had a customer) called 17 times over a 4-day period, ranging from 5AM to 10PM, again I have the records. We were closed all 4 days.

4. I *never* ship UPS, do a search. I use USPS and DHL exclusively. None of that matters as not only CAN you ship on Saturdays (with UPS Store, FedEx/Kinko's, and EVERYBODY else) but they also DELIVER on Saturdays. Get your facts straight before you start calling people liars.

5. I told you, from the beginning, that the order has to be PAID before I turn the first bolt on stripping the used parts, just like everybody else, and that it would take a week or two for me to get it all together and apply the decals. I have the emails.

6. I gave you a 100% refund within 12 hours of your ridiculous 4AM PM that was a direct threat to ruin my name. Extortion has a zero-policy with me, and THAT is why I chose to refund you and simply never deal with your immaturity again.

I'm not going to defend anyone but the customer is always right, but not always easy to please.  I think the Bird did the right thing and refunded the money to an unhappy customer.  Not much more he could do.  Sounds like there was good communcation.

This is why I like paypal; I can track the payment and do easy refunds.

Also when you ship with PayPal you an email is automatic; but you can only ship USPS.  Only problem is that USPS has terrible tracking, but you usually do not have to worry about it.

I also use FedEx (UPS cost too much and I do not trust DHL), and when you create the shipping label on line you can send an automatic email to the customer to tell him the tracking number.

I would not keep this from dealing with the bird in the future.  At least I know I will be made whole if the deal falls through.  The real horror stories are the one where nothing is shipped and no refund is made.

crusher, rather than asking someone for the part and saying you will pay at some point in the future, i would suggest saving the money, then asking, pay in full immediately, and wait til you have the part before you strip parts off your car. better for everyone involved that way.

hey aero, got any parts for a 95 cat?

wasn't 29 days, I discussed to you about another item and dropped that for the new items.  so the old item isn't involved.

There were no emails tho between me and u So why do u say u have emails when it was only PM's and MSN ??????????????  * Thinks u are lieing again *

And once again why did u say u shipped it.  My MAin concern is why did u state it is shipped Answer that question and I will take back what I said.

Your lieing is what caused that deal to go bad, why didn't u say look its not shipped yet or even contact me in the 2 . 5 weeks?  U never took one action after the phone call which was on  Oct 27 8:00pm (Eastern Time Zone )  I have it on my cell phone..

Put me on your black list

Aerobirds Black List:
Black List:

Crusher : Lied to him stating the package was shipped he waited 2.5 weeks and never got nothing because I never shipped it.  Then I called him immature for reacting back.

I will say one thing atleast you gave a refund, but I wanna know why you lied.  I respect you for giving a refund but why lie?  I hate liers...

1. The old item WAS involved. You didn't decide that you didn't want it until the very email from PayPal for the payment 29 days later.

2/3. We're only open until 4PM PACIFIC TIME on Saturday. So if you called at 8PM EASTERN it would be 11PM out here. Starting to get it now?

4. I NEVER ship UPS. I said USPS, as in the Post Office. Except YOUR PayPal does NOT have a "Confirmed Address" nor a "Contact Name" so USPS refused it on the following Monday and gave it back to me. That's why it had to get re-boxed (from a Priority Mail box to a plain one) and shipped DHL (who came yesterday and I gave them every box but yours).

5. E-mails, PM's, IM's, Phone Calls, you used all four. I had to deny a half-dozen requests from your IM, most in the middle of the night. Finally I got you blocked as I don't IM with anybody that's not family, period.

In case you haven't gotten it yet, the answer to your question is #4. YOUR PAYPAL DID NOT INCLUDE A REAL NAME. USPS DOES NOT SHIP TO NON-BUSINESS'S WITHOUT A NAME. THE BOX WAS REFUSED AND I HAD TO REPACK IT AND SHIP IT DHL. YOU messed up on your PayPal, which led to an extra week and a half of BS for ME re-boxing and generating a DHL invoice AFTER I had already done everything USPS.

You need to take back all of your "lieing" comments (it's spelled lying BTW). YOU messed up, I tried to get it to you another method, and then you threatened me. Sorry bub, but you broke WAY to many business-customer relations rules and that was the FINAL straw. You're faaaarrrr too much like a certain banned member here with all of the "hold it until the week after" BS and the CONSTANT invasions of PRIVACY.

I've never had a problem with Aerobird :dunno:

DHL *lost* (ie they screwed up shipping) my order and Aerobird gave me the tracking number and everything. Never had a problem dealing with him.

DHL sucks but they've still messed up far less then FedEX or *shudder* UPS. Somebody needs to start a decent shipping carrier...

Funny thing is...there's 4 Time Zones, lol
Eastern, Central, Mountain, and Pacific ;)
Not that this has one helluva thing to do with the purpose of this thread but...

And I've had a good dealing with ABM, so...other than that, I'm staying neutral..sometimes  happens despite our best intentions, hopefully y'all can resolve this amicably.

Make that twice now Michael.

1PM Eastern=12PM Central=11AM Mountain=10AM Pacific....

Or in your case..if it's 4PM IN WA...it's 7PM on the east coast....

Right now this is at name calling.  At this point both parties are unhappy.  Now no one owes anyone anything (money returned, etc) and aside from hurt feelings this deal is square in my eyes.

Both sides stated their point and until either/both sides produce any "records" that they claim to have this is all just going to be a g match, and I'm not going to allow a g match.

What the heck is up with you? It was Veteran's Day weekend! We, like 99% of business's, were CLOSED. I do NOT appreciate being called OUTSIDE of business hours or IM'd constantly. This is a business, not a 24-hour talk-my-ear-off line.

Yes, I read your message. I scheduled your box to ship out and DHL didn't show (thus leaving 7 orders here stuck for 3 days). If you want to sit here and play threats and bug me at home, I'll GLADLY give you a refund and tell everybody about how you act.

Look, I have rules on my site for a reason. I do NOT want to talk to customers outside of business hours, or deal with phones ringing all hours of the night. Send ONE e-mail, I will respond. Or call ONCE during business hours (Tues and Thurs) and I will pick up. Calling 3 times at 7AM does NOT fly.

Sorry for the rant man but you seriously pissed me off and now I sit down to reply to all the accumulated e-mails/PM's from the weekend and read your horse**** about "I warn u". That's not how you treat anybody, especially not a place of business.

So here's your options;
1 - Full refund and don't EVER call me again.
or
2 - Be a normal person, and DHL will pick it up today, and you'll have it by the weekend.

As for your "threat", I'd seriously take that back...

I only called u on that one day u picked up :S, never called on 7:00am or w/e and I called just before your site stated u were closing like 1 min before the final, so when u said I kept calling I never did I only called once. And U told me u shipped it that morning which was a saturday and u can't ship on a saturday. I'm not someone who wants to be screwed over again which I have by 4 people already on this site.

So U stated u shipped it but didn't, so U lied there. Thank u for proving that atleast.

A threat no it was a promise because a true business man wouldn't let a box for shipment wait 2 weeks without contacting the user. I waited 2 weeks being nice and u never sent it, how am I surpose to feel?

I am not the type to start promising people, but when I get lied to guess what that makes the spark go up.

I'm sorry if I came up with the promise right away but I waited 2 weeks and 2 days so far on this day since u said u shipped it. Now let me ask u something wouldn't u be pissed off if I said I sent u a part and didn't contact u with no tracking # or anything, and u waited two weeks what would u do? I bet during that 2 weeks u would of contacted the seller and asked wtf was going on. I waited for the package but guess what , I was waiting for nothing.

I need those parts, so ship them out tomorrow or today get me a tracking number and this matter is solved.

And this is going by your word:
Quote:
2 - Be a normal person, and DHL will pick it up today, and you'll have it by the weekend.
So enjoy,
~Crusher

Default Re: Aerobird Motorsports

Somebody with your area code called me 17 times in the last 4 days. If that wasn't you, I'm sorry, but I've never sold to anybody in that area before. I'd sure like some proof that it WASN'T you!

1. Yes, you CAN ship on a Saturday, Through ANYBODY. The Post Office, FedEx, UPS, DHL, they're all open.

2. You did not say who you were or what order it was, and it was most certainly PAST closing time, by 3 hours. I had shipped 19 orders (all of them) the prior day so I assumed it was one of those guys (which it was).

3. You waited 2.5 weeks to actually PAY for your order, that doesn't tell me you're in hurry. I told you I had to pull all of the parts and then you wanted me to install the decals FOR you for nothing.

4. Obviously you are not mature enough to handle business transactions. Your refund has already been issued and parts listed for sale, again. Do not ever contact me again. I am reserving my right to refuse service to you.

1. The old item WAS involved. You didn't decide that you didn't want it until the very email from PayPal for the payment 29 days later.

Quote
2/3. We're only open until 4PM PACIFIC TIME on Saturday. So if you called at 8PM EASTERN it would be 11PM out here. Starting to get it now?

Thats 5:00pm and I must of read it wrong could share to god it said 5 but I won't fight u there.

Quote

I have a Confirmed Address, and people ship me items under the Xtreme Force Name all the time.

Only reason the name is that because thats a business paypal for my business which is shared by others.

Quote
5. E-mails, PM's, IM's, Phone Calls, you used all four. I had to deny a half-dozen requests from your IM, most in the middle of the night. Finally I got you blocked as I don't IM with anybody that's not family, period.

Quote
In case you haven't gotten it yet, the answer to your question is #4. YOUR PAYPAL DID NOT INCLUDE A REAL NAME. USPS DOES NOT SHIP TO NON-BUSINESS'S WITHOUT A NAME. THE BOX WAS REFUSED AND I HAD TO REPACK IT AND SHIP IT DHL. YOU messed up on your PayPal, which led to an extra week and a half of BS for ME re-boxing and generating a DHL invoice AFTER I had already done everything USPS.

People shipped me with fedex and UPS with the Xtreme Force Name, ask all my sellers that I bought from.

Another thing is why didn't you even pm me or message me stating, your package was refused or anything?  You didn't talk to me in 2.3 weeks till I said something tired of waiting.  You are wrong there.

Quote
You need to take back all of your "lieing" comments (it's spelled lying BTW). YOU messed up, I tried to get it to you another method, and then you threatened me. Sorry bub, but you broke WAY to many business-customer relations rules and that was the FINAL straw. You're faaaarrrr too much like a certain banned member here with all of the "hold it until the week after" BS and the CONSTANT invasions of PRIVACY.

Make fun of my spelling, its PC Text I don't care what people think about it.

Only reason I got your msn was because I was interested in helping u with your website, but then I notice you were a business :S,  I don't help out people who r trying to make cash with my web skills.  I help out free sites, but when I found out u were a business I came to you for parts.

And If I'm like the member well I atleast give the money when promised.  I work with mostly free jobs so I'm not rich and this car isn't my life, its my baby.  I help out people so I live on a week to base check and I know what has to be paid and I know when I can pay for something.  Instead of the part getting sold and me not having a chance to buy it I request and ask if you can hold it.  If the Seller is nice and not in a rush or in a bug for money they will hold it for 1 - 2 weeks Top and then get there payment.  And for waiting that shows that they have respect for the buyer.

U still haven answered my true question of why u lied, u just gave me bs about it being refused...  Why didn't u ever message me about anything?  Also, go ask people who I bought parts from UPS took the Xtreme Force Name.....

I don't have time to keep entering this stupid chat, To me you are a bad business guy.  You know your stuff and you can hook up people but you are slow in action.. Learn when u said out a package or after getting a payment to keep in touch of whats going on with the parts.

Payment was received on 10/19?  And then refunded 11/13?

Then Veterans Day weekend is when all the calls/etc happened?

To me, it looks like the item was paid for and not shipped.

What is the explanation?

EDIT.  I see.  The package was returned to Michael by USPS.

From an outsider perspective this is still just as muddy as it was.

Crusher, use a real mailing name next time.  Michael, it might be a good idea to let folks know if an item gets returned.

It's all hearsay now about who called or "harassed" who and you both flew off the handle.

The money has been refunded and this matter to me is closed.

AT&T Wireless

10/27 05:50 PM INCOMING 973-248-5565 NW 3

Since you didn't leave VM's, the ridiculous calls are just on my phone, showing the time/date of "missed calls".

I don't have AT&T  So Im guessing u did, how can u state that the miss calls were from me :S if they show no number.  My Caller ID shows missed calls or private.  Would u like a copy of my phone bill with all my numbers to prove I am not stupid to call someone at those times. ?  Would be glad to show u I'm right would even bet u cash.

Also phone call was on:

10/27 05:50 PM INCOMING 973-248-5565 NW 3

and he told me on the phone that it was shipped that morning Chuck.  I waited till Nov. 13 for my package.  I also waited 1 week and 1 day to call him hoping I didn't get screwed again.

As stated, the package was returned to him....it could have been floating around for over a week as it made its way to you and then back.  Not his control, but he should have emailed when it came back.

He didn't run off and hide and refunded your money.

also he claims he waited 29 days for payment..

Facts:

1 - Waits nearly a month to pay for orders, then does so with an unconfirmed PayPal mailing address (rendering the Seller's Protection Policy void) and no name, just "Crusher" (rendering shipping USPS void as you have to have a contact name).

Aerobird I will take the Power antenna - $15 , I will send payment next saturday then you can ship whenever you like.  I'm gotta get it so I have a spare incase mine goes bye bye.  So Please Hold.

Where are you located? Prices do not include shipping as stated in the ad. However if you're in the US, the antenna fits in a $9 USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate box. As soon as $24 payment arrives I will ship it, but I will hold it for you for now.

Look I really don't feel good about this feedback, insulting a member on the cougar / t-bird forums is a bad idea.  We are all a team and stick together for our cars.  If we break apart then our team dies which will be very bad because then the fun of the team will be gone.

When I got my cougar people insulted my car but I loved it when I found this site I found others who liked the same car or the T-Bird, I respect this site and will respect any member.  Some of my friends have left this site because of stupid fights like this.  I don't wanna see Aerobird Motorsports or myself go or anyone esle.

So Aerobird Motorsports to settle this, I will only request you to say your sorry for your wrong..

And I will right now say I'm sorry for threating you, should of waited till the 3rd week.  The correct thing which I should of done was ask, but I had my door panels off since that phone call waiting for those parts to fix my key cylinder and auto lock motor.  I drove to cleveland like that to pick up my parts too.  It makes noise and lets in drafts which just made me angry.  And I used that anger to message u worring where my parts were.  And Since I got ripped off by someone with another cougar part which was 45 dollars I was not ready to get scammed again.  * Please note * this scammer isn't on this site I hope *  also u calling me immature stating I'm calling u at random times and accusing me of other things will also make me angry.  And thats what made me open up this thread.

Quote
Immature buyer backed out after special request

I didn't back out, so why lie u refused to send the parts....

My car panels r still off and Im not putting them back on till I find the parts needed to fix inside them...

I'm trying to keep peace because thats what the team needs to keep.
