Title: Engine Building/Rebuilding
Post by: nirvanagod on February 19, 2005, 07:36:35 PM
I'm interested in reading and learning about how to build and or rebuild engines. I've been reading learing a lot about the whole mechanics of how engines work and the parts that are involved in making them work. Well now i'm interested in learning about how to teardown and rebuild one. So i'm looking for either a website or a recomendation of a book or video that does a step by step description of the process. I'd also like the book to have specifics like torque specs and ratios and what have you.

A good book is "The Step-By-Step Guide to Engine Blueprinting" by Rick Voegelin, published by CarTech Press.  Your local Barnes & Noble should have it.
