Post by: nemgos on November 03, 2007, 01:47:42 PM
I want to put duals on my 5.0, but the guy wanted me to move my fuel pump/filter. How would I go about it? Thanks

Thanks for your response. Would cherry bombs be the only option for lers, or do I have more choices?

mpolarisf, what year car do you have?
nemgos has an '84 which the fuel filter is mounted in a different location than '87-'88 cars and as luck would have it, sits where the passenger side ler would go.

Nemgos, I'm assuming you have already looked at coolcats (http://"http://www.coolcats.net/tech/advanced/50dualexhaust.html") about this since you're asking about cherry bombs.
Also here's (http://"http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?t=10668&highlight=fuel+filter+relocation") a thread discussing fuel filter relocation. It probably isn't much help though.
