We had hour first son yesterday, by C-section, at 12:08. He's perfectly healthy, aside from having been bruised by the forceps, and very quiet. So far, anyway. That never lasts for long.

Anyway, his name is Seamus Adam Reeves, he's 20" long and weighs 7lb 15oz.

Tell grandpa how lucky he is there... took me 3 months before I got to hold my grandson, couldn't pry him away from the women. :D

Tell me about it. He is the second of three boys born in our families within six months.

He knows. This is the first time he's gotten to hold his newborn grandson. When my brother had his boy they were in Edmonton, and they had to save for a year before they could fly out.
