Got the shift kit installed after work this morning.NICE.It took him about an hour (he already had the valvebody ready),and it made a HUGE difference. You really feel the one,two shift. Can't wait til the track opens this spring to see how she does.
glad to hear. what company did you go with . and what servo are you running. me personally i would never try to modify an AOD again. but thats bc ive had really bad luck with them. but isnt it fun feeling a nice HIT when it shifts. (spoiled from a c4 with manual controll)
Honostly,I don't know what kit it was.He does ALL of the fords around this part of the country.Mostly race cars, and he's recommended by all of the racers,so,I went with it.He did a great job as far as I can tell.He wants the car back in a week,so,this Thursday (my day off) I'll take it in a day early and let him check it out.I went scalding the tires at lunch today.I'm still smiling.LOL.
