Is that color documented?... Or is it just a good repaint?

It appears to be 2Y - Midnight Wine, an incredibly shagy color in person...difficult to photograph though. You can see a Cougar in that color here:

Very nice car with lots of good options. That's an uncommon interior color as well (Taupe, 1986-87 only). Hope someone worthy can pick it up.

Nice Bird, is power recline considered rare? My car has it and I thought everyone with power seats came with it.

Gorgeous color, And purple is very uncommon color for a car overall, let alone factory color. :headbang:

Well...it sort of rained that day at our show. Cloudy skies make that color look funky. Here's a blown-up photo that shows a little more of the burgundy hue:

Grrrrrr.... That's the color we're thinking of for the new project. That is a sweet car to start with, and very nice for the $$$.
