changing cfi to efi. im running it to a problem . do i have to take the dash apart to change the wiring harness?:mad:

No.

The harness can be fished out through the hole in the firewall.

You will have to find the ground wire and the ECU relay that are attached up high on the pass side kick panel area in the interior though.  Once those are loose, you just fish the harness out.

both are efi,, not sure what you mean or what motor your going to.

staying v6 but want 6 injectors or you talkin about going to a v8?

jc ive never swapped cfi for efi ,its a 302 (.040) we got it the valves were burnt gess the shiznitty cfi cuased it,plus where gonna change the cam later shorties h-pipe flowmasters .

So, what harness did you use for the SEFI? I'm about to purchase a 85 5.0 CFI car and I have the injectors, fuel rails, and intakes from a Mustang laying around.

thanks drew but we already have everything .about a week after this was rote we purchased a intake injectors for $150 then we got an engine harness for $100.the intakeis an h.o. thanks for the reply

I was just saying I plan to do the same swap with leftover Mustang parts, not sell the stuff. What engine harness did you use?
