i made these today dont look too bad.....i needa polish the plastic i might leave the birds off and just color in the indents black might look pretty good as well as making that strip pretty close to mirror finish as possible..... i was originaly repairing the fell off lense but i said ima make me some custom tails.... also pics of my 2 12" mtx woofers i got in powered by a 1000W amp still having problems with hearing engine noise...(yes i realize the rust along the window sill.....)
I like it.. My brother did the same thing with '87-'88 Cougar taillights... I'll have to snap a pic.
Clear?? I thought you meant clear as in no color. I like them though, did you remove the clear inner pieces?? I need to polish mine.
I think they're going to look like butt at night, but that's just me.
I think you should scavange a shield or something from another light to block the bulb and do the reflector in a more chrome finish than the silver they are. That way you won't be seeing just the bulb when it's on.
It's going to look kind of half-done the way you have it.
Yeah I don't like it. I don't like it when people do that to the 87 88 Cougar lights either. It looks like something is broken rather than a modification.
I pulled mine apart and painted that Chrome paint on the reflector part made my lights seem alot brighter. Looks good but how do the look at night?
on my 87 cougar i put in a black insert in my tailights and made mine look round like the t-bird. looks pretty good :-)
i like the look of the light minus it being not shiny need a non rainy day to reclear these.....and finish other side lol i might paint back of em black might look good maybe get some led bulbs too....
