Ok, to start off, I'm doing the 99'+ SN95 brake swap. So that means that I need 15"+ rims - Right?
Anyways, I can't seem to find any decent Mustang rims around me, that are a good price. All the ones I'm finding are really expensive.
So.... I know that there are other models that use the 5x4.5 bolt pattern.
So far, these are the ones that I know.
95?-99? Explorer Rims
94-04 Mustang Rims
??-?? Conquest/Starion Rims
86-97 Ford Aerostar
83-92+ Ford Ranger
84-92 Mark VII
??-?? Grand Cherokee (older - I've seen Grand Cherokee wheels on a Mark VII)
??-?? Crown Vic/Grand Marquis
Any other that You guys know about?
Keep an eye on the offset of the wheels, too.
You might be able to c00ch some wheels from:
-Ford Ranger
-Mark VII
-Grand Cherokee (older - I've seen Grand Cherokee wheels on a Mark VII)
-Crown Vic/Grand Marquis
I could be wrong with some of those...
Ok, I was thinking that the Crown Vic rims would fit, but not sure on offset. I've also heard of Mark VII's and ranger's rims being used.
Too bad your so far away, guy up here is selling a set of 16" 5 lug waffle ponies for 125.00cdn.
gotta watch the hub diameter too. bullit rims wont fit on older rangers without grinding down the front hubs, or grinding out the rims.
hell, Id like to find a set of 4 lug steel wheels for my TC, for winter tires.
