We pick it up Tueday....They just need to do a dealer prep.
I almost bought one of those myself. The whole flip up thing that cmes out of the armrest and swings all the way to the radio is a little wierd though.
Cool although im not a fan of them, hope you have fun with it.
like the color
 Here's to your new addition. lol :cougarsmily: :cougarsmily:
Ooooo and it's an R/T to boot. Have fun with it.
Nice, I almost painted my car that color!
Yes. 4.0 (265 HP) with 3.55's, the 5 speed Auto-stick, and the tow package with a bigger radiator and trans cooler. We got the sunroof and MyGig system as well.
Have one just like it on the lot, same color,R/T,nice vehicle.
not my cup of tea. I like the colour, but that is about it. Congrats on the new purchase though.
My dad drives them on the assembly line.
He absolutely hates everything about them. He says he is alwayshiznitting his head getting in and out of them.
Tell him to shrink! :hick:
Hes an average size guy, 6 foot tall, 190ish...
Hmm.... Maybe it's the constraints of the assembly line? I've had no issues getting in and out of it and the Demo at the dealer lot...I'm about the same size. How long has he been doing assembly line work?
SUV's should have little wheels and big tires, not the other way around. Even still, it's more capable than most of those "poser" SUV's (as long as it's 4WD - if it isn't, it's just a station wagon). Those are based on the Liberty, right?
Well hes been working for Chrysler since the 60s....
Assembly line work, I dont really know, more than a short time.
WHATEVER YOU DO
Do not be roped in by that paint sealant the dalerships push. Its worthless. And by all means DO NOT let the dealership "Detail" it before they let you have it. Most dealership "Detailers" Use some very questionable tecniques and some low grade-High Filler products to detail. My buddy just boght a brand new Ford edge in black and about a week later (After its first hand wash done by me, and I am CRAREFUL with black) we noticed some nasty swirls and marring on the finish. We went back to the dealership and found out it had been detailed as part of the package deal he got. I asked to talk with the detailers and see what they were using. A dirty foam pad with an abrasive polish and a retard who didnt know the first thing about using a rotary is what caused all of the problems. Needless to say, they paid to have it detailed (FOR REAL) at the shop I'm associated with to fix the problems. Just a heads up. Even that color can mar if a monkey uses a detailer on it.
Is that your new DD or the wifes?
Nice BTW:D
A little of both. Either way the demon will no longer be a daily and will see pleasure rides along with it's Mustang cousin. We will use this and the 2000 Cougar.
Oh, and it is a 4WD. In order to get the bigger motor (and an extra gear in the tranny) you must upgrade to the R/T which has the rims and tires shown as standard. The vehicle wil only see on-raod snow and very occasional light duty towing anyhow so no big deal there. Besides, I kinda like them:hick:
