Without any other changes... About like the ones you have now and possibly not as good.

The stock E6SEs will produce a broader torque curve at lower speed than the HO type heads, which need more cam and RPM to make power. IMHO the heads(and upper intake)are the last things that need to be changed in a SO 5.0 build up. A HO Throttle body, injectors, EEC, cam, headers, and exaust system will make approx 200-205hp without the heads. Of course if your going with a cam, might as well put heads on it...

well im looking for more punch out of the cfi system. and maybe having better flowing heads and exaust might be the trick.

A CFI 5.0 probably has the same heads you're lookin at.... The E6SE was NOT produced till '86. All 5.0 heads before then were similar....

ok so opening up the exaust should help gain some hp plus i ripped out the ac. if it doesn't make u go fast its not on my car. so basically clean up the injectors and clean the tb and i should be on just with exaust
