I know I've seen a bunch of users from the midwest and a few from Missouri, Ive only been a Cougar owner for a few months and I was wondering if there are any members have a local meet or anything.
i'm in kansas city and there's another guy in grandview.
I've felt around to see if interest was there, but response was limited. It would be cool to put together a meet here in the midwest. or even get a club together that meets for breakfast once a month or so.
i'd be down for something like that... especially since you and i live about 5 minutes from each other. lol.
I live up by the IL, WI, IA boarders. If it wasn't more than a 200mi or so trip, I might have to come.

well, where would be a good central location? i know there are a few from kansas as well, it doesn't just have to be Missouri folks. let's decide a location and a Date, and get together.
I'll be in sedalia mo. in a week or two(relocating). It'd be cool to have a meet somewhere.
honestly, if there are people on the kansas side... somewhere near state line would probably be good. i know on another site i'm on, we meet a buffalo wild wings in the shopping center at 103rd and metcalf.
So right now we are leaning toward the west side of Jeff city right? Anyone against Jeff? I dont care where we meet depending on when we meet will depend on if i can make it, need suspension an tires(again)
how many people do we have and where are they from? we should do something central then. i know it wouldn't break my heart if we were to do it in KC area, but i am flexible.
i would like to keep it close by too (kc area).
well were are is the majority? that should help decide this better. I'm all the way over on the other side of the state but thats just one of me. KC area seems to be the most populated, never been there anyways. How many peoplr are we talkin?

Jefferson City?? centraly located?? i know the city fairly well. Plenty of places to be.
Jeff City thats sound central enough. Thats about 3-3.5 hours from me. Never know if it is in the spring time we could meet up in local groups and drive there in packs. Kinda like the Birds & Cougars are taking over. It always get attention when there is a large group of the same car/cars in a long line running down the highway.
Sure wish i could come. closest i have to "misery" is 2 sisters. 1 in the army and another 2 hours south of st louis.
Lets get it rollin guys, I need to meet some people that have experience with these cars. Also anyone interested in a trip to Gateway for an open track night?? After i get tires and my tranny fixed i want to go to the track and get a baseline before i do any serious mods.

Missouri user chiming in, but my Tbird is a W.I.P., so I won't be able to bring it probably before spring..IF i have not moved yet.
I'll keep my eyes on this thread though...if y'all need some help setting it up, and I'm still around, i'd be glad to do whatever i can.

Well guys why we are all waiting for spring lets try to set plans and hopefully eventually a date so everyone can take car of their jobs, cars, kids etc.
There is an car show every May held on the Bagnell
Strip above where the Lake of The Ozarks turns into the Osage River. Ive attended the last two years just because it is so darn close. Its about a fair distance from KC or STL either way about 3/4hours. Same for southern MO, like Branson and Joplin (joplin is a good 4+hrs.)

Thats the website with all the details. If anyone has any other good ole' local boy type events in MO lets hear it. My job takes me to the major cities in this fine state but i would love to explore more of her backroads.:burnout:
Got some good gravel roads up here...just fine for takin' a slow cruise, looking at deer, and blasting some good hard ass-kicking rock or metal.

so everyone. the summer is almost over, something should happen. Im dying to roll in a pack of cats and birds.

That sound like a blast I would love to Roll with a Huge pack of Birds and CAts. I know I'm extra close for this but every year here in Branson they have a cruise car show. They shut down HWY76 strip "main road through town" at night and have all the cars cruise from one end of town and back. There are people lined up along the street in lawn chairs. It has some nice car, some average cars, and some Junk Cars in it. Anyone can enter.More of a cruse and not really a show. I know the Branson cops are really hard on people that act up or show off. But it is an idea. With such an event maybe we could get more Board members to come. Even if not. I would still like to meet up with some other Bird/cat-fox lovers. Hangin, cruisin, knockin back a few cold ones, whatever lets do it.
