well instead of vacuming he water out of the rear floor boards today i decided to install my new heater panel man that was alot easier than i thougt hell it took all of 30min to do and as far as splicing the vacume lines all i did was plug the new vac lines into the old vac end that went to the old panel it got dark so i still need to put it back together also did the coin cup install what i did was cut the panel to slide it into and used the anti theft ring from a cd player slid over the back to secure it . it worked great
Hmmmm... interesting. Ive got the taurus cup/coin holder and I wanted to put it in but realized it wasnt going to go in the top slot. How functional are the newer heat/ac controls in our old cars? And how exactly did you hook it up?
its very easy to install the heater controls and every thing functions as it should ...look on erics site in the media section and ther is a how to section ..all you need is the control panel the slider cable wireing harness and vac harness....i got the panel from a 89 or 90 sable,,the harnes from a 92 cougar, the slider cable from a 92 mustang and the rounded conrtol nobs from a 96 f150...but you can get every thing you need from one car ..i just like doing shiznit the hard way
Looks a lot better now, almost like it was supposed to be there in the first place.
BEARMAX-With all that chrome on the dashboard you'll need a new pair of shades to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hehe ive got my aviators on the dash
and to think a drink holder was not a stock option back then.
looks great man, i gotta find one of those drink/coin holders.
