I took the Bird off the stands to move it outside so I could wash it's belly. It was in bad need of a good washing. Here's a couple of pics.
I love the way those Starion/Conquest wheels look on there. What bolt pattern is that?
Here's 1 more pic of the car and a couple of the turbo.
They are the same, 5 on 4 1/2
I actually love it.Not as much as my Sport (no offense),but still, love it.
holy huge turbine housing
x2 on the love for the conquest wheels
No offense taken Vinnie :)
The turbo actually looks smaller in person. My photo taking skills are a little lacking. :D
Yikes!! I just took another look at that pic, man the exhaust turbine does look big.
1 on these days, I'm going to get the wife to take a pic of me next to the car. That thing sits lower than I thought or what It looks in the pic.
Comming along nicely :D
So are you droping in the 32V or painting it first?
I'm going to get it ready for paint then I'll coat the underside with bedliner stuff. I still have to smoothen the engine bay. I'll need to mock up the engine/tranny for a test fit. I also need to clean and paint the engine and paint the tranny. Louis, you should come over some weekend and check it out
Sounds like a plan. I need to see how you're going to fit all that stuff under the hood:D
And make sure you paint the motor Ford blue;)
man i love the look of those wheels! Good work man!!
I agree, those wheels are sweet.
Louis, I'm usually not doing much on the weekends. And yes, I'll be painting the engine Ford Blue, but the darker Ford blue. PM sent too.
Thanks guys, I like the wheels too. Definitely different. I need to work on them a bit though. On another note, I want steam rollers on all 4 corners and with these 16s, the biggest tires I can put on are 255/50s. Those are 245s on it now. NOT BIG ENOUGH :D
They both look good to me:D At least someone else here thinks Ford blue engines are nice:D
ford red ftw.
Ford red is for 6 cylinders :raspberry
Ford blue is for V8s :D
well if you decide to get rid of the set you have now, I want them!
daboss351, I'll keep you in mind.
Hi guys, Just a little update. I started working on cleaning the engine today. I removed the intake and found what looked to be the beginnings of a birds nest at the back of the valley. I'll be taking pics and posting them this sat.
John
:punchballs: Sorry guys, didn't take any pics yet. Got too busy with the wife and boy. I didn't even make it to the garage Sat.:punchballs:
