Title: Noob with a Mark VII saying Hi 56k welcome to 2007
Post by: 5.0 tbird on September 17, 2007, 01:08:06 AM
I'm hailing from TCCoA, LOL, mark vii club.org, FVC, etc. been lurking for a while now and this looks like another nice place to waste tim...err hang out, yah that's it. :hick: I'm into the fox birds and cougars, I'm pretty much an all around fox body enthusiast. My Dad had an 83 Cougar LS 5.0 with the TRX wheels when I was younger. Well that's all I know for now, time to feed the pic monster. :redxdance:

Here's some pics of my baby, it's an 89 Mark VII LSC that I've been doing a little work on. :D

That old cougar looks sweet :-p

Nice Mark VII , I knew that car looked like my cougar in a way :-p I always get mixed up with those and cougars from far away or Thunder birds.  But its only because my eye sight is bad :-p.  Welcome to the forums.

Beautiful Mark!  Did you ditch the air ride?  It looks like those wheels would rub if you have bags.

that's a very clean car.  a buddy of mine has one that's in just as good of condition.  yours and his are quite possibly the cleanest i've ever seen.  he's got one up on you though... he's got twin turbos.  i'll try and get some pictures to post up.

No joke, I get that a lot. You'd think the giant hump on the trunk would give it away :giggle:

Thanks for the great welcome everybody. I know it's not a bird or cat, but it's still a pretty close cousin.

Sure, once I can scrounge up the cash. :D Canfield heads, trickflow intake and cam, BBK 65mm throttle body, Vortech, Longtubes. Right now I have a Richmond powertrax on order, but Jeg's backordered it :raspberry

I've been restoring it and doing supporting mods mostly at this point.
