Named for the bull that killed Master Matador Felix Guzman in 1943.

That is awesome!
BTW: Look at the interior pics and tell me how many cup holders it has. :D
I'm guessing they might think some people will be scared riding in this one.
If it does not do 245-255MPH than i could honestly careless
 Says the guy in a T-bird 'GT'.
I was reading about this car on Monday. I'm just glad they built a new car, rather than polish the Merciellago again. They still have the cooler on the left side only, I see. (behind the door) :hick: It's angular enough to recall the Countache, and sloped to have a Diablo like side profile. Very nice, and very Lambo.
They're in the back seat silly :slap:
The real question is this... due to the lack of cup holders, who is going to be the first rich turd to spill his Starbucks coffee and wreck the car.
It probably has them hidden away in there somewhere though.
Did anyone else happen to notice the Rustangish heat vents in it? Me personally, I don't really like the looks of the outside of it, but I kinda like the interior though.
Ya in the glove box. :hick:
They should've called it the "Countach", a sit has a very obvious visual connection to Lambo's most famous car. Still, from what I've heard they're only selling 20 at a million Euros apiece (that's about $1.4 million) so I guess it doesn't matter what it's called...
I think what Pimp was saying is that it can't match the Veyron, and I've gotta agree - it costs as much but can't keep up with the pinnacle of my automotive desire...
Holy Transformer...
Does it still have the Lambo doors or are they normal?
Looks fast and Fragile.
Wow... a lot of busy designing going on here... although I like it suprisingly much.
And those guages are effin' sa-weet!

Sure does, And it better for that price. :flame:
From what I've read about it, they won't even start making them until January, and within 4 days they sold all 20. All 20 were bought by men here in the U.S.; and they sold all of them within 4 days of releasing the news of it. Expected delivery date isn't until October of next year.
hott sechs

I had seen that pic before that is why I asked. :D

Lmfao...
Looks amazing!!
To turely call it a 1.4 million dollar lambo wheres all 4 turbos and a HP gauge or something that has not been done before? WTF makes this car worth about 12-14 Diablos? in the world of Zondas and Konisegg's and the new 802HP 250mph porshce do we really need to make room for this high dollar POS or should someone start racing it and test it out before you blow a mill and a half well almost. Even the 253MPH VERNON gets smoked by TT vipers on a race form 0-200 and gets waxed by about 3.5 secs.
I have seen a F40 in real life and a SLR Benz and like 10 FORD GTs carrol shelbys 5.5 million dollar cobra the G-Force CUDA a few DB9s and panteras that this car does not look like its worth about half the price tag untill its road tested and their videos and it lives up to its HYPE.
Nice looking, but for the price they better turn up the dial on the horsepower meter.
The fact that this reads like a six-year-old's ranting aside, where have you ever seen a factory TT Viper? Don't bother with tuner cars - I'm talking about factory iron, as in "as delivered from the factory, as engineers intended". And, for that matter, when have you seen a factory ANYTHING beat a Veyron in ANY speed contest? The "Vernon", as you called it, would run rings around every car you've mentioned (with the possible exception of the 82-horse Porsche - I hadn't heard about it. Is it a factory car, or another tuner?).
...And even if a heavily modified Viper (yes, I would consider adding two turbochargers to be "heavily mdified") can beat a Veyron to 200, what happens past that speed? The Veyron has been documented by several car magazines as actually being able to achieve its claimed 252MPH.
He was probly refering to the TT AWD Porsche Cayanne. But the horsepower rating on that is around 550. There are several other cars that can meet the ranks but not exceed.
RS200 but can't find the power rating and performance numbers. But some of them were pushing 900+hp in race trim.
THe Viper that beat the Veyron was a Henessy package producing over 1000 RWHP. Figure 1200 at the crank.
Many of us here have seen exotic supercars close-up. Myself, Innes and a few others on this site live in the most expensive county in the Nation so we've seen a lot of the uber-cars. Why boast about seeing them? No biggie. Cool? Yes. No biggie though.....
I think it looks hot like I said earlier. For the price though, I would want more power.
All that really matters is the fact that all of them have been spoken for. They sold them all within four days. It is apparently worth it to those that matter. Lamborghini didn't design the Reventon for anyone on this site, I can tell you that much. You can either like it or not, but crying that it isn't worth the money, when it has clearly been proven to be so, is pointless. What car in history has ever sold its entire run in that time? None. The pinnacle of success.
I dunno why, but that made me think of something. How many Mustang's did Ford sell on the first day of sales April 1964?
BTW, that thing looks like the Comanche chopper that OCC built on the Discovery Channel...
True, but I'm only a winning lotto ticket away.....
Key words being "race trim" - the Veyron is a street car, and not only is it a street car, it's one with full luxury - leather guts, DVD NAV system, climate control, etc...
No doubt about it: If I had a million and a half dollars to waste on a car (which would mean I'd have Bill Gates money) I'd want better than 600 horses. Hell, I think the SL65 AMG tops that...
I was gonna say just that: Lambo didn't care about a bunch of fans of mediocre 20-year-old Fords when they designed that car. Hell, Ford doesn't care about us, why would Lambo?
Lots :D But then again, the Mustang was a sales success by any measure. There have been a lot of cars that demand exceeded supply - people have been willing to pay double the MSRP just to be the first on the block with one. It's not always a wise investment (think retro T-Bird), but I think the Lambo buyers will be happy with their purchases...
Its a fact, Carpimp is an idiot.
It'll take more than that. They're only making 20 of them and they're already sold.
Therein lies a big chunk of the price tag, only 20 of them. What would you be willing to pay to be one of only twenty people in the world to own one?
meh... these supercars just don't do it for me.
Ok this car does 0-60 in 3.4 secs isn't the FORD GT like 3.6secs? or so to get to the same speed with like 500 HP the VERNON was a lossing money project and its a great thing not many people can spend 3 to 4 million dollars on a car but for a company to take a loss of over 2 million a car is not a bad thing for a the buyer.
1.4 X 20=28 million dollars VS 4 X7=28 million for 7 vernons at build price
So with the math and overkill of the cars looks the budget falls way short of the worlds fastest car and the cost is around $200,000 more for something that might not live up to the HYPE.
Their not out yet and i doubt this LAMBO will do 253mph+ EVER.
Heres Something i would like to have FORD GTX1 610 HP ford drop top supercar. heres #24
http://www.gtx1.com/gallery024.html
WTF is a "Vernon"? LOL...
Btw, I wouldn't hesitate to pay 1.5 mil for that Lambo... for my Forza 2 garage!
Please stop calling it the Vernon.
That's like saying we all drive Tabards and Cragars.
Hahahah....
Interesting assemblage of words. Would you be so kind as to rearrange them into sentences that make sense so that the rest of us may get a glimpse into the wisdom of Carpimp?
Seriously, I have no idea what you're trying to say here...
It doesn't have to...Shelby now ownz the top speed record:
http://jalopnik.com/cars/breaking-news/first-chunk-of-sscs-world-record-press-release-299758.php
And that's Shelby Supercars, folks, just to clear up any possible confusion. No relation to Carol's company in any way. We wouldn't want you fanboys to go telling all your friends that the world's fastest production car is a Ford, now. (it's a Chevy, actually :moon: )
hahahhahahaaaaaaaaah. *sigh* I'm going to get myself booted out one of these days.
