Great looking car !!! Your engine isn't too much different than mine other than the a/c.Great work.
okay, i dont know which i love more. the bird or the truck. they both look beautiful. My dad had an old 76 ford truck i wanted to restore but he traded it for a 72 comet. you dont see many older ford trucks restored like that.
Sweet Bird and truck :D
thanks for the comments guys, they both seem to be a never ending project.paid $300 for the car (but got lots more in it), $900 for the truck(about $9500 so far),
just picked me up another one, 93 mustang $500, i will try to get some pics up this evening. this one will be my son's
That's one sweet bird!! Love the truck too!! What's that sitting on the railing ??:D
that's my 12 year old son in the driver seat, said he needed to run up to the store so i had to cut his beer intake off. LOL!!
my truck will SCOOT pretty good, built 460 (472) w/around 450hp, 500ft lb torque,4 link suspension, 9" posi with 3.89 gear,TCI c6 race tranny 3000 stahl, 3" exhaust. trying to get it stopped is another thing!!, 4 wheel drums.
workin on getting a mustang II front susp. put on with disc and maybe power brakes. just sits in the garage most of the time.
took my son for a ride one day, he said you have never really got on this thing with me in it dad, so what should a father do? that's right, i scared the sh@! clean out of him.
Thanks again for all the coments, Joe
Haha thats great. Awesome truck. My dad always pushes his 383 Chevelle when I'm in it haha.
kingcars, do you know where paul ceiner woods ford is? there is a all ford car show the 22nd this month, there is a thunderbird spot set up for us. if you can, you still have time to enter your car, i think you got till this weekend. it's a pretty good show, i have been in it the last two years and mine was the only 88 there, maybe 8-10 older ones.the rest was, you know (MUSTANGS), look in the book and give them a call.
Asheboro, NC here!
hey guys, here are some pics of the one i just got $500/2.3 4cyl 81,000 miles
just got to meet kingcars, kinda bumped into each other at the fill me up station.nice guy, nice car. trying to get him hooked up to go to a car show on the 22nd....

this one will be for my son
For 500, that looks great. Nice vehicles.
Wow that's a really clean Stang. Nice score. Should make a perfect first car, assuming he takes really good care of it.
As for the gas station thing, it was pretty funny. I'm pulling in and I see 87/88 Tbird tailights sticking out. Then I see dual exhaust and Cobra Rs, and the dark red paint and I'm like "Wait...I know that car..." It's not every day I see fox Tbirds like that running around...and my "not every day" I mean "never." It's a very sharp looking car.
Anyways, I should definitely be able to make it to that car show. I just have some cleaning to do on the car.
HOLY !!! YOU PAYED 500 FOR THAT STANG!! Ugh i wish i could find a clean car like that! My lincoln is not that nice and i payed 540 for it plus 60 in towing!
Love the bird, wicked digging the truck too!!
WOW... Sorry to all the other LX owners, but that's probably the sweetest one I've ever seen. Ever.
It's not an LX ;)
Are you running speed density on that 5.0? Because it looks like you have an adapter on the intake pipe where the mass air meter should go;)
the stang is an LX, and yes i'm running speed density (for now). got the adapter pipe from summit.
thanks again for all the comments guys!!
Whoops, i thought he was saying that the Tbird was an LX. :hick:
PS - I'm gonna call that dealership after class today. They almost put me on the work schedule that day and I was like "Hmmmm can I take that day off?" haha
your bird is a GORGEOUS! and your truck looks fantastic.
I'm lookin forward to that car show next week. I'll probably be cleaning and engine and interior over the week.
