Title: rim size
Post by: cougarpower51 on August 31, 2007, 09:49:17 PM
Guys will this rim fit on my stock 88 v6 cougar, the lug pattern on of the first one is 4 x 4.25 or 4 x 107.95 and the three are 17x9

Yep, bolt pattern will work fine.  I'm not sure about the fronts though.  They might rub with 9" rims.  I know 8" ones don't rub, but not sure about the 9" ones.

A buddy of mine has these same type of rims on his 88 and never mention any rubbing not sure of tire size. My 87 I have 17x9 4 lugs
with selby rims on 245/55 with no rubbing except when I hit a dip
because my car is dropped about an inch.
