Title: coolant passages and temp. locations
Post by: 460 turbo truck on August 31, 2007, 12:47:26 AM
Was curious about a location for a aftermarket temp sending unit, i saw a block off bolt just about and slightly left of the last freeze plug,

Would this work for my needs, or would the block heat mess things up in my gauge readings ?

have pics, but can't host them.

Also

i rember a while back reading some where that people block off the coolant passage to the intake, is there any pro/cons to this idea, i know there's a sending unit in there for some sorta cooling thing,

Should i just leave it be ?

Also also,

what's the pros and cons of using the origbuttstuff coolant flow in and out of the turbo ?

I'd like to just set something up like out of water pump, into turbo out of turbo into heatercore, then back to thermostat,

Or should i use the oil cooler on the 2.3 turbo motor setup ?

Thanks for the help,

Nick
