Come on, Ford. Leave the building of Peugeot's up to.... Peugeot! Considering their quality figures, you don't need that kind of publicity.

other then the HUGE ASS GRILL, its actually not bad looking. I bet that would out sell the scion XA and XB if they make a good turner market for it.
call me gay, but i think it looks alright.
It looks like a Focus with a Dodge mini van grill on it! WTF is up with that?
you're the one who lives in ohio.:beatyoass: :D

To each his own, if anyone likes it I got no problem but personally I wouldnt be caught dead in that. Good thing there are some sig pics in this thread, otherwise I would have ralphed all over my computer....
Aside from the Chrysler grille I like it. And Interceptors, Falcons, Utes, T-Birds and Cougars aside, this car is EXACTLY what Ford needs to be taken seriously as a car maker again...
Am I the only person here who has seen a Peugeot before?:wtf: They didn't just copy a car here, they ripped off the whole brand image.

If anyone says "I see some similarities, but..." I'll shiznit myself right here.
So??
probably because the 206 sells so well. there's really no market for peugeots here.
More for your comparative palate. I'm sure we can all agree that Ford doesn't need to build cars that look like they were designed in France.

We can make fun of China all day long for their reverse engineered blatant copies of established cars, but turn a blind eye when one of our own does it? Nah. I'm not party to that. Ford can design a car on their own without resorting to this. And they've already got plenty of minicars the world over. Why can't they just bring those over (let alone the 'real' Focus)?
:D :hick: :beatyoass: :shakeass: :flip: :punchballs: :toilet: :flame: ;) :D
Jesus...
Does Ford even manufacture a car that is of their own design besides the Mustang? New Taurus = Volvo, Fusion = Mazda, Focus = Something European. Ford must be doing this to overcome the fact they have been going bankrupt the past couple of years. Maybe Peugeot is building this car for them??? I don't like it at all.. If Ford was going to use a Peugeot design maybe they should have used the first car OldRaven posted up..
well they do use a LOT of styling cues from jaguar.
Yes, this must be a sign of his return.
So, it's a Focus with a little French bread thrown at it?
lol
How come the silver Peugeot at the bottom of the first batch looks like a cross between the now extinct FWD Cougar and the Mitsu Eclipse?
Doesn't Ford own Jaguar? Come to think of it... that car has window trim that looks like it's from an Aston Martin...
Because they got one of their designs right. ;) the 407 CC coupe is a nice looking car, even if it has a touch of Accord V6 to it.

I don't know, I actually like a lot of Peugeot's concepts, but their production versions always look like they're wearing a retainer.

They could make an entire movie out of these Peugeot's with their grills animated and talking to one another.
Hmmm....looks right out of Dodge's notebook... ;)

Good God, Eric. You've ruined the 407!
I was going to say that car looked an awful lot like an intrepid...
