its getting lighter! do you still have the heater box under the dash? cruise control unit? mine came in at 3020# w/ me in it with....

removed spare tire and jack
removed radio w/ speakers
removed front and rear bumper
removed front swaybar
swapped AOD for T5
removed dogbone weight off rearend
removed door panels
removed pass side and rear seat
swapped cast iron exhaust manifolds for stock mustang headers

still have a.c., power steering, smog pump, elec drivers side seat, stock k-member,  cruise control, and a lot more weight to pull out.

before the car weighed 3,465lbs w/ me in it

ive since removed the items above, but still dont have the car running to weigh it now. i have no clue what gains or losses ill see with what the car has now.

That is amazing.  You got to get it on a scale to check for accuracy.  Truely amazing.

If I can get mine to 2700#'s over the winter I'll be very happy.

without a steering column and a wiring harness, its going to be hard to steer. that rollbar will add some weight, too. and race weight is w/ driver.

Of course,I will add what weight when i collect all the parts im waiting on and adjust the total acordingly. What has been removed will be replaced by something lighter in all cases. There is still plenty of weight for me to remove.

Im working on car weight not race weight.
