Title: Welp, Cars destroyed by hail!
Post by: Carl on August 24, 2007, 12:14:16 AM
So yeah, I have never seen it hail golf balls for 15 full mins! Then continue to hail pennies for another 45!

Cougar is riddled with dents all over the front passenger side marker is wasted and both of my tail lights are destroyed!

The Eclipse is just covered with dents. (which is not much better)

I filed a claim for both cars, but I only have liability on the Cougar.

That should not make a difference since it is an act of God, correct?

obviously you cannot see the dents in these pics because its night time and covered with rain. but the cars are covered with them :toilet:

dude, sorry to hear that.  That is what looks like happened to my Tbird when I bought it.  I spent a weekend doing the paintless dent removal on it and got the majority of them out.

Hopefully I get some money tomorrow for the cars. This came at a bad time since I am trying to sell the Eclipse.

I thought it was "painless" dent removal or am I wrong?

Anyway, yep that sucks. Every time they forecast hail here I just hope it won't actually do it (so far it really hasn't).

My mom got caught in a big hail storm a few years ago and it left little dents all over her roof and hood.

Man that really sucks.  83 84 tails are really hard to find too.  I'll keep my eyes open for a set.

Ouch!! Hope everything is fixable. I cringe everytime I see hail. Even when it's pea size.

A couple of years ago we had a storm while working in the garage on my Tbird and dad's Chevelle was sitting outside...I about had a heart attack.  Luckily, the good ol' American steel didn't even flinch.

Anyways, I hope it all works out for ya!
