Title: Installing Volt Gauge...12v source?
Post by: DMC24guy on August 15, 2007, 05:28:13 PM
Ok, I'm installing a Volt Gauge in the Center Stack area of the dash. I'm putting it where the Equalizer would normally go. I've got two sources of ground, and I've already located the "Lighting" wire to use for the gauge, but I can't locate a wire that's "hot" with 12v when the ignition is in the "on" position. Are any of those wires that connect to the equalizer harness "hot" when I have the car in the "on" position? Or are there any wires I can use that should be in this area I'm in?

I used the always hot cigarette lighter.
