Title: Wanted to buy 1988 Cougar XR7

I'm looking for a black or white one with gray or blue interior. 

I don't want a red one or one with red interior.

I'm in Texas so I'd need one on the South end of the country

Let me know if you've seen any.

This is by what the forums r saying a XR-7 , with a white body and Gray int.

But the problem is its not from the south, even know it would drive to your location, when I sold my v6 the guy drove 14-15 hours back home lol.

Well there's a White one wayyyyyyyyyyyyy up here in Northeastern MN.  It's an '87 with a 5.0, but I'm not sure if it's an XR7 or just the LS model.  I gave him my 88 XR7 302, so he has an extra motor (he was gonna swap the cfi intake).  I offered it to Venom Cat this last summer, but it's still there.  I know the owner wants it gone, cuz it's parked at his parents house, and they don't like it.  I work with the guy.  He says the front clip was replaced (matching white)  and dual exhaust installed, and has been parked a long time now, since it needs a fuel pump....ain't that typical?  I have the grey accents for the doors and I can't remember if I saved the rest of the exterior trim panels or not....if you're interested.  I don't recall what interior color he has, but like I said, I have the complete light grey interior.  I know it's far away, but if worse comes to worst....

I'm willing to travel if the car isn't rotted.  I have a few frequent flyer tickets.  Probably not for an 87 in MN, but thanks for the thought.  Leads like these get the "finds".

It's quite possible.  As you can see, I have 2 Tbirds, and no Cougars.  So the XR7 stuff doesn't fit mine.

If you decide you do not want an XR-7 i have an 88 LS 302 car for sale. It is in the cars for sale section under 1988 Mercury cougar For sale. Its blue on Blue.

I goofed.....the Cougar I was referring to is an '85, with 5 spoke prostars, or something like that.
