I was test driving some stuff at a sleazy car lot in Longview, and saw a Medium Red looking 4-eye Cougar. It had lit coach lamps and was marked "cheap". I have the dealer name if anybody cares...

Did it look like an 83-84 or 85-86? My dad used to have an '84 in that medium canyon red color. Only reason I'm interested.

Eh, the easiest way to tell, even if you are driving by at 60mph is the grille from the front and lights from the rear.
But thanks for taking pics. I'm still curious. My dad had an '84 and that car sparked the interest I currently have with these cats 23 years ago.
