is there any modding to the wiring? or is it take out and plug in?
I don't know about base to digi, but from base to sport, we had to do some re-pinning. It didn't take too long

So whats the full name of this Dash? and is it rare?
Full Digital dash " Star wars"
Rare... I duno on that one.
It can be done but it's more than just swapping wires. The full digital cluster required different sending units for the fuel gauge and temp gauge than what you have now. You can get to the temp sending unit easily...fuel sending unit, you need to drop the tank to get to, and according to parts stores you can get the correct sending unit.
Also you'd need to run some wires over to the EEC harness and tap in to get the fuel computer part of the digital cluster to work.
...and oil sender. Because all of those sending units need to be replaced it's quite a job, not only in repinning the two connectors and replacing the sending units, but in finding the sending units to begin with. You can buy 'em new, but prepare to spend money, especially with the fuel sender. In addition to the "fuel flow" wire that Eric mentions, you'll also need to run a wire to the tach side of the ignition coil.
It's MUCH easier to go from base to full buttstuffogue (Sport or TC cluster) because the only sending unit you have to change is the oil. Still gotta repin the connectors though...
pics of it installed in your car???
