i'm thinking convert to 5 lug and run the 89-92 ranger 10 hole rims... those are lightweight.

Tell us what diameter and width and bolt pattern you are looking for.
While you're at it, find me some lightweight 18"x12" with 5" backspace and 5x5" bolt pattern....

That has already been discussed on here not too long ago... space saver spare wheels are really really weak.

Weld Draglite Wheels are the lightest and cheapest you can buy new for the 4 lug bolt circle.

being that weld is in bankruptcy, it might be hard to come across new wheels.  if you go that route, you'd probably have to buy used.

summit makes a weld knockoff that's really good.

I heard that too but Summit still sells them and most will ship today, so I don't think it's a problem.

i did some investigating and it looks like summit bought all of weld remaining wheels.  there's a chance that weld might be able to come out of it, but that's contingent on another company loaning them the money.... which doesn't look good.

I just bought a set of those for 350 bucks and they came with the same offset that my  old rims had. They weigh alot less than my Cragars that I had. And I don't have to worry about the center caps falling off.

Forgeline wheels look nice and are very lite, just a bit more expensive than the Summit/Welds.

I give up;  please post a link of cost and sizes available that will fit a 4 lug application.
