Title: Turbocoupe Cluster Swap
Post by: GrannysBird on August 13, 2007, 11:06:37 AM
Hey guys I'm expecting to receive a TC cluster sometime in the mail this week and before it got here I wanted to ask  a few questions.

1) How do I size the faces on the website to the correct size? As of now when I print them off they are about 8 inches in diameter.

2) Since I currently have the base cluster how do I run a wire for the tachometer?

In your print dialog box (assuming it's Acrobat Reader), make sure you UNCHECK the boxes for "Auto Rotate and Center" and "Fit To Page" (or equivalent). This will give you a 100% printout.

Tap onto the dark green/white wire at the ignition coil (+).

Tap onto the dark green/white wire at the ignition coil (+).

Correct wire color, but the polarity is (-).

Thanks guys!. And no it is currently just a NA 5.0 it will be a while before I go ahead and turbo/boost it so I will be eliminating the boost gauge for now.....but later on, much much later on there will be a turbocharged 331 with a viper transmission and cobra independent rear suspension. Right now though I'd be happy with a paint job

You can open JPG files in a web browser...make sure the auto-resize option is turned OFF for the browser.

Auto resize is turned off in the browser, and I saved the image as a PDF and went to print it out in Adobe and I still get a printed image twice as big as I need it. :punchballs: :punchballs: :punchballs: :punchballs:
