cool, did you get the mark 7 cheap? You should measure the fron end of the mark just to verify it is the same size as a tbird or cougars. A freind of mine said that he might give me his for free. His mark broke down and he is parting it out.

is that yellow mustang yours too? We might not love mustang guys, but most of us have a mustang under the hood

That mark was not cheap, about $6500 I only drove it for about a year and a half. Then it got rear ended.  I got it with 68000 on the odometer. Now their is another in the garage that I got for $200 for parts. The lincolns are getting parted out and the air ride and five lug is going on the 88 cougar, the bird in the picture is just getting the five lug.

No there are two things we don't like in the drive way anything that says Mustang and anything with a bowtie on it.

And yes I am ready to have stones thrown at me about the mustang remark.

Let me see some more pictures of the mark, if you're parting it out, I'm sure there's something I could use off of it, shoot it's even the same color as one of mine.

Which mark I have two? I don't have pics of the other. The one in the pics is a 91 the one in the garage is and 86.

What are you looking for?

My grill has a crack in it, fog lamps are mia and possibly the front air . I'm always looking for all the seats I can find, regardless of condition of the leather. The instrument cluster out of the '91 would be nice as well as the drink tray out of either one of them. I would deffinitely like to have the wheels of the '91 to use as winter wheels, at least till I swap to 13" brakes. Possibly some of the lights depending on condition

I can get you the grill.
You are just wanting the lower piece under the bumper?
Fog lamp are broken. I can't remeber if I still have the factory one or not I will look. I also have the covers for them. Somewhere.
The interior of the 91 is spoken for. :sorry:  Going in the Cougar.
Im also certain the instument clusters are the same in both.
I can get you the drink tray if it is the one in the center console.
Wheels are on my Aerostar van. :sorry:
I can get the lights. I will take pic of everthing next time I get out to my parents.

Speedometer should read 120 on the '91 and only 85 on the '86 unless it's not and LSC in which case I don't want it anyway. You can send prices and pics to my email at jhblank@bellsouth.net if you want, or just post on board and I will check back.

the front right tire looks like it

A little of both if you look it is sitting on a set of TRX rims tires have leaks and I am too cheap to buy new ones. And it isn't a TC its a 3.8 base model bird. It was wrecked when I got it and my friend was parting out a TC for his brother $300 for the entire front end.

Yes it all bolted right up nice and clean execpt the paint didn't match. And I didn't have the inner marker lights. And after I dropped it 1.5 in.

You should see the car now.
front end is completely gone. Getting engine and trany swap. and another new front end. My friend backed over it with his F150 said he couldn't see it.

Oh The Turbo coupe appears to be Rose Quartz exterior color--appears to have moonroof?
The T Bird and Mark are similar; share the same frame I thought.

I ran my vin, for my Cougar, through carfax.com and had a question. Why did my car get deliverd to the dealer on 11/18/1987 and was not titled till 10/07/93 with 88,000 miles on it. I have the title and it is clean just looking for answers.

Both 17x6 is small. This may give ya a better idea on the size. Thats the trunk of my Mark. And you will never guess how much I payed for them.

Title: My cars

Close enough 19x8. I traded my blue Aerostar for them. They are going for between $600-$700 retail per rim. Time for locking lug nuts.

The other funny thing is they are light as hell. I went to pick one of them up that has a tire on it and just about fell over backward it was so light. I can lift it with one hand.

Those actually clear the strut?  I know on your caravan the bottom of the spring is like an inch above the tire.
Title: My cars
Post by: slamedcat on April 16, 2006, 03:55:43 PM
255/40R19 are around the same size as the 225/60R16 that are on it.
I was going to look into a lowering kit becasue of the gap above the tire.

God bless you when you have to buy tires.  The 18's on my wife's Mustang cost about $200 per tire.

I agree that they look really great on that van.  The tire size I was looking at for the Mustang is 285-35/ZR18 in the rear and 245-40/ZR18 in the fronts.  About $571 total from TireRack.com including shipping.  Plus about $20 to mount and balance them here.

The 15 inchers on my Cougar cost $300 for all four tires.  LOL
