I understand you might have some slightly used 2.3t head gaskets for sale?

Sorry, I had to :hick:

Hmm... a few things in that list look mighty compelling... I just might have to think about that shifter, assuming it's complete (cable, brackets, bezel, etc). Hmmm... do I wait for my 5-speed swap, or convert to floor shifter in the meantime?

you, Mike, for making me think about such things...

It's 100% absolutely complete. Hell, I'd throw in the tranny itself for some more $$$. It's even in Shadow Blue ;) Full center console and everything :D

And yes, I have 3 8993's, a 1035, and a VR for sale, slightly used :hick:

Obviously I'm raising fundage to fix Layla correctly (AND the Nissan truck).

Good for you. Was it a 35K mile one complete with WGA, down elbow, inlet elbow, return line, and E6 with good EGR? I didn't think so.

Mike: Are the CHE upper control arms the adjustable style? If so would you be willing to sell them seperate? Price with shipping to 02831? Pictures?
Thanks,
Rick

Some payments sent, marked as pending.

The CHE's are non-adjustable.

I'm actually kinda regretting buying my adjustable ones. The arse sits too high now, gotta get some shorter springs :hick:

...and by "too high" I mean "WAY TOO HIGH" - the 225/60R15 tires look like donut spares in the wheel wells now...

You want a pic? Here's a pic :hick: I'll either need to drop its butt or install something like 265/70R16 truck tires on the snowflakes to fill those gaping wheel wells...

That is all the frickin' way down. Stock '87 Turbo Coupe rear springs...

No. The adjustables add about an inch (or more, it seems to me) of height for the adjustment mechanism. The non-adjustables should have the car sitting at stock height.

Title: New and used parts for sale, rare and performance

It has a tach and speedo and a boost gauge in it. I can snap a pic of the one I am selling.

The 83-84 TC cluster should look like a big speedo big tach, gas gauge in the middle. Then it has a green light for Boost and a red light for Overboost.

Yep, that's it exactly. Putting that cluster in a non-turbo car will result in the loss of a factory transmission gear indicator, though, since the fuel gauge is where the indicator is in non-turbo clusters.

no need, i have a floor shifter :)... could i swap it with my cougar digital dash.... i'm sure they'll be some wires to swap, but they'll fit and the speedo will work right?.....  if so, i'll take that pic ;)

I know the one in my 84 T/c is a cable driven speedo. I think that the end that goes into the speedo are all the same. except the part that holds them onto the speedo.

My speedo cable is melted but still works. If my cluster comes out it's not going back in. I'll opt for the TC cluster when I replace it

Mike, do you have an 87-88 T-Bird driver's side quarter panel trim piece? I need a non-TC one with no cracks or chips. Mine has a hole in the front and it's been letting water in, which is one reason why I've got rust there.

Mike do u have a performance exhaust system? or if not a stock one for a 1986 Mercury Cougar LS 5.0L v8?  Also Possiblely headers...???  Also do u have the fuel senser needed for the 87-88 T-Bird/Cougar "Star Wars" Gauges ??????  because if u have the stardard it works backwards and u need the other fuel senser to make it work correctly.

Crusher,
$25 shipped for the sender. I like MagnaFlow and DynoMax products personally, and a full 2.5" mandrel-bent header-back with H-pipe is what you need ;)

FILA,
Nope, sure don't.

Crush. If you have a V8 or even a 6, it would be duals. Also depending on where your at, you may or may not need converters

By law I need Converters * BUT I DON'T WANT THEM * :-p I was surppose to get full length flow tech headers and custom H-pipe with dynomax super turbo lers and turn downs but that deal went down :S... SO I need a exchaust system and looking for something good for the street, not to race but I love to have the power :-p and I want long tube headers LOL :-p

Hum.... I *think* BBK has a H pipe for longtubes that has cats on it. From the H pipe back is up to you. Do you actually have to pass a smog test of just a visual inspection?
