i'm done with cable broad band :flip:

i'm now as i type useing a sprint broad band mobile wireless card.. :D

and come to think of it... i'm at the bar in town having a beer or two or three.. well ok a pitcher! :drink:

How is the speed of the WLAN?

Edit: I think I meant WWAN

Cost?

I have the capabiltiy in this laptop, but I didn't think the wireless was ready for prime-time yet...

it not as fast as wired broad band but fast enough..

my wired broad band was 45 bucks and this is 60 bucks with unlimited useage but i can use it anywhere i go

i do a lot of driving with my job, so i bring my laptop with me sometimes. it has a regular wireless NIC. i can always pick up on unsecured networks, park, and browse porn. :D

I ordered my HP laptop with the WLAN in it, and bluetooth. I send songs and stuff to my phone, and the wireless is a godsend.

Hope you like vista.....I hated it.  I got the new hp with vista and got rid of it the second week.:flame:  IT IS SLLLOOOOOWWWWW.........

 Yeah, I have had the verizon wireless "broadband" for about a year now. It's ok for small pics and some video streaming but the vids sometimes stop and have to wait for the buffer to load. It is better than dialup but useless downloading large app. files.
  Can sprint download apps say 5-10megs or so at a reasonable speed? Verizon throttles it down when I try.

i do to but if you happen across a network like i often do, i still have to log into the company server via the vpn which is usually a no go cause the wireless network hasnt enabled port 500. Thats in my case, not sure about yours.  So,, i have to find an alternative to getting at my email.,,which is the important part.

so now that your the resident expert,, why dontcha help me get this wireless print server to work?

LOL used to do the same thing with my psp, i had two settings one for home then one to "wardrive" with. LOL looking at porn standing in the games section at Meijers funny shiznit.
